Sheffield protest on 30th June against the cuts

The Sheffield Anti Cuts Alliance is an autonomous and independent organisation based in Sheffield, UK made up of workers, students, the unemployed, pensioners, trade unionists, volunteers, and residents to combat the cuts agenda in Sheffield.

Initially proposed by the PCS trade union, the group quickly gained support from other unions, as well as the trades council and the Labour and Green Parties. Whilst it remains independent from all of these, members can be from any background with an anti-cuts agenda.

They are asking everyone who opposes the government cuts to join them on Thursday 30 June at 12 noon in the Peace Gardens, Sheffield; or for the rally which begins 1pm at Barkers Pool.
